Senate Farm Bill Debate: Budget Issues

DTN Political Correspondent Jerry Hagstrom reported on Friday (link requires subscription) that, “Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-N.D., is charging that Congressional Budget Office scoring shows the Bush administration’s farm bill proposal would cost more than the Senate farm bill, but an administration official said the CBO score of the administration proposal is outdated.”
