DTN writer Chris Clayton reported yesterday (link requires subscription) that, “A tremendous boost in farm exports and net-farm income should give lawmakers the opportunity to change agricultural policy so it will protect farmers when they need it, but allow agriculture to rely upon the markets, Acting Agriculture Secretary Chuck Conner said Wednesday.
